*Auto Dimming Mirrors
Radar-Mirror.com pioneered the use of a custom transflective two way mirror for radar displays, which allows us to achieve the unique "vanishing display" appearance in our mirrors. We are able to preserve the auto dimming function in most applications, however the technology for this feature varies among manufacturers and auto dimming will no longer function in some vehicles. In cases where auto dimming is lost we use a custom fabricated replacement glass that is slightly less reflective than a traditional mirror in order to minimize any glare.
The following is a current list of vehicle manufacturers that will retain the auto dimming feature with the 9500ci display installed. If you do not see your vehicle manufacturer listed please contact us for an evaluation of your mirror and options for integrating the 9500ci display.
